Hello……

 I am Jane, the founder of Easy Beesy Sleep Solutions, and a mum to a little lady called Georgia Bea. After a difficult journey, including round after round of IVF, Georgia was born via surrogacy in what can only be described as a whirlwind, with an early birth and NICU admission that lasted nearly three weeks. We were only allowed to visit for one hour daily (the hospital’s rules), and we had to wait 10 days to hold her. After spending time in NICU, Georgia was also diagnosed with CMPA, and we had to navigate all the effects this had on a baby, including issues with sleep and congestion. After living in a bubble, just the three of us, on the other side of the world, we had to adjust to coming home. I became very attached to co-sleeping, as I loved the bond it created and the need we had for each other.

But eight months in, with the return to work looming, I needed change. None of us were getting enough sleep, my shoulder pain was unbearable from holding her on my chest all night, and we had no ‘us time’ in the evening, as I went to bed with Georgia.

So, I started researching how to get Georgia into her own room and sleeping through the night.

I ended up hiring a sleep consultant because there were so many different methods, and I was clueless where to start. I read the research and looked at Instagram posts, but it was conflicting and overwhelming. This is where my passion for sleep science started. Within a few days, with the right help, Georgia Bea was sleeping in her own room for 12 hours a night and was a much happier baby.

I have since qualified as a peadiatric sleep consultant with a special interest in using gentle approaches. At Easy Beesy, my aim is to provide straightforward solutions to help your little one (and you) get the restful sleep the whole family needs.
